McLean, VA – Ascella Technologies has been awarded a contract from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to provide Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analysis support in response to requests across all SEC divisions that are received through the agency's Walk-In Development Center (WIDC).

Developed to support SEC Office of Information Technology, the WIDC has become a critical facility for enabling the SEC to respond promptly to requests for BI solutions. As the SEC continues to implement state-of-the-art reporting tools to improve information available to its user community, Ascella will support SEC requests for assistance in the WIDC by applying its extensive experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and systems support. As part of this support, Ascella will develop and maintain BI universes, and will design and develop Business Objects reporting to address SEC functional requirements.
